Mounts (not a reward issue)

From the lack of general knowledge of ninja having a shield that blocks damage, to the lack of awareness of being attacked from high ground, to present complaints of healers being unkillable, to mounts slow debuff when hit being unfair

How about range classes like bard, machinist, and dancer having such low hp for none caster jobs. Healers and then mages should be ones with least amount of hp. Still find it dumb there doing away with mounts achievements. They should stay for all those that have the garo titles.

If you can't see why that exists, you need to stop being in melee range.

I'd like for mounts to not exist in PvP too but not because of the debuff or anything. I just feel like some of the maps are too big and running around on mounts feels weird in arena style PvP.

The mounts are fine. It's not difficult for a new player to find out and die to it, then realize they should be more careful. Let people learn by experience.

Why would anyone play healer ever then? I dont think anybody would play a role that has 0 chance fighting anyone and dies to anyone who attacks them. And no "Just stay back" wont work when very mobile jobs like NIN and any tank exist.

And really if people are smart about their cooldowns any healer is kill-able, even AST which is in a much stronger place than the other two.

As for the mount issue I'd rather they not remove them given the sheer size of the maps and certainly not because some people are too dumb to realize they need to make distance before mounting.

That is why I am for a non combat sprint that moves mount speed. And you are so right about the dumb. I killed three people today all on mounts trying to run away and I could walk and shoot faster then they could. It just feels SE panders to the lowest common denominator, and I wonder how was this missed.



I am not sure if anyone one dps can solo an astro. I have yet to see one vs one and usally two vs astro that can kill me. That includes melee limit break Maybe that is peoples problem. In HWs any dps class could solo a healer if they had all their cool downs up. But SE likes healers being a little tougher its probably more to do with feast then frontlines. Since in feast it is way harder to stay alive.

If the Healer was bad yes, but the game was deeper and you also had more tools to save a healer as a DPS, this isn't even worth discussing; not to write your post off, I'm just sure you can see why.
