thats fine but my argument is all this information from the UI shouldnt be required to be able to play the game

is this really necesary? i mean to be honest if someone doesnt know that a paladin is a tank or white mage is a healer then i dont really want them in my party..

im a real believer in the beauty of simplicity and this sounds like an abomination of a UI to me.

let me see whats happening on the screen and get rid of the lag so what i see is actually what is happening and then i can play the game... no need for all the information from the UI.
