    Future Content / Systems for FFXIV

    Hello everyone!

    First of all i would like to mention... all the ideas based on the Dungeonsystem and instanced zone sytsem, which SE would like to stick with (it seems). Since Square would like to streamline FFXIV, some of my ideas will sound familar.


    1.0 ####### ENDGAME #######
    1.1 - Prepare for the real Endgame and keep the Economy
    1.2 - Party Dungeons (8 Players) / Raid Dungeons(24 Players)
    1.3 - Dungeons / Raids with Open World feeling
    1.4 - ID's, Timersystem
    1.5 - Rewarding System
    1.6 - Who to get DoH and DoL more involved into this type of Endgame?


    ####### Endgame #######

    1.1 - Prepare for the real Endgame

    To get the allowence for the Party and/or Raid Dungeons you have to finish some Quest's/Missions before. These Questline itself should include things like strategy Boss fights and should not include any kind of RNG.

    There also should be added some Dungeons like AV and CC now, they are only aviable for 8 Players or less, they can be done in 30 Minutes to farm good Gear for even have a chance of success in the Party/Raid Dungeons later on.

    It shouldnt be necassary to farm the Gear mentioned above IF you have the money to get Double or Triple Melded gear. (its a question of balance, SE would have to fix)



    1.2 - Party Dungeons (8 Players) / Raid Dungeons(24 Players)

    Sidenote: Party Dungeons and Raid Dungeons are the same, the only difference between these two types of dungeons are, that u can only enter it with 8 or 24 and on Normal or Hardmode.

    Dungeons and Raids should be aviable in two difficutly levels "Normal and Hardmode", it also should be possible to enter a Dungeon either as Party (8 Players or less) or as Raid (24 People or less).


    1.3 - Dungeons / Raids with Open World feeling

    Instanced Zones are "Okay", but wouldnt it be much better, if you would have Instanced Zones like in XI? Remeber the good old Dynamis raids? Where you could choose the way you wanted too, it wasnt like the endless Pipesystem we focusing on now.


    1.4 - ID's, Timersystem

    For me we should have higher Cooldown on raid ID's the reassons for this are simple, before i am running into the same Dungeons 100 times in a week for 5 Drops, i would rather doing a dungeon twice a week and get atleast on every Boss a Drop for 100%.

    Sidenote: This system is a real Win:Win situation for the Producer and the Player: You will still need alot of time getting your Stuff, there is still a RNG because the Boss can still drop always the same, but about the Dropsystem/Rewardingsystem we will talk later on.


    1.5 - Rewarding System

    For completing a Dungeon, every Player should get Points for every Boss who got killed. For this points you should be allowed to buy items from a special NPC. But you are not buying a Piece of gear... no... instead of this, you going to buy:

    .) Abjurations: where you still need to buy or craft a certain cursed item for it. (XI style)

    1.6 - Who to get DoH and DoL more involved into this type of Endgame?

    Like i mentioned above, with this Rewarding System, you will need DoL and DoH, inside of the dungeons there is always 1 Spot for Fishing,Miner and Botanist. You can gather only 1 time and you recive up to 1-3 Ore's and 1-3 Log's or Fish Bones also 1-3. This Farmspots will only be once aviable and dissapear after 1 Player degraded it.

    Please note: This special Materias should be Rare/Exe and cannot be sold, but the Finished Product (the Cursed Item) can be sold. I also think, inside the Dungeon, the Ore/Log/Bone should be aviable to trade with someone in this Party or should drop into the Treasure Loot, because not everyone has everything up to 50.

    ***Mini-event while gathering inside the dungeon***

    While the DoL player focusing on gathering the rare mats, add waves could spawn and the rest of the group has to defend the DoL player.

    *** Other Mini-events inside the dungeon***

    Also what would make fun, to get to some rare bosses or extra fights you could make special ways aviable if a Botanist could bring down a tree over a canyon, or a Miner destroy a rock before an entrance - and also here... add waves could spawn and the other Players have to defend them.
