Rival Wings needs a practice zone

Where we can learn to use mechs, how to recruit the mercenaries, what the train is good for and how to capture it.

I'm at 70 RW wins, I am comfortable piloting cruse chasers, I will run oppressors in a pinch, I dare not touch justices. If there is a train I will fight at the train platform but do not understand WTF it does except good stuff. I have no idea how to recruit mercenaries.

Just think about how intimating that all is to new hands.

I agree, we need a pilot training ground
And they need to maje in game tutorial more understandable

Btw dont run oppressor in pinch, Its designed to attack tower not for defense (low atk power towards player and mech)

Chaser is best forr defense high attack power towards player and mech

Try to read the action tooltips for more detail

Chasers should be prioritizing killing other mechs over anything else as they have way higher DPS then players do for that purpose. While they can do a nice amount of damage to players with their laser sword, they need support from other players/mechs to actually kill anything as a healer can just top everyone off before any of their moves come off cooldown.

Oppressors also shouldn't neglect using Steam Exhaust if they're being attacked by chasers as every little bit of damage you can deal to them will help get them out of the way faster, and it's rare that you'll ever actually get to spend all of your fuel on missiles before you die, anyways.

Have you seen the guide on the Lodestone? It covers everything.

there actually is a gobbie NPC on the wolfsden pier who offers a basic text guide, but I doubt more than a handful of people besides me even know about that. So an practice zone is definitely needed, especially considering how many new UI elements the mode throws at you.

Yeah he has a full guide with pictures and everything.
People should go talk to him if they are unsure what to do! He will make your braincase wet!

We have a training mode for Feast, which has the simplest concept in all of PvP to understand. People still fail to grasp it, ignore guides and anyone who can be bothered to /tell them and help them. If you think people will first of all play practice RW and second of all actually bother to put time into learning the mode, you are sorely misled.

Lack of guides or tutorials is a good excuse to not put in effort, but we all know the great majority wouldnt put in effort regardless (:
