Kind of falls under both gear and glamour, but more medium plate armor for tanks, like what DRG/SAM/MNK get or like the SB DRK AF3 set.

Meanwhile I'm over here like "give me more heavy armor styles for my SAM, I am not a MNK," lol.

Ignore job restrictions from anything you want glamour.

Glamour is only aesthetic and I don't see reasons for keep a piece locked, if you just want its appearance only.

I'd love for this to happen, even if they leave job-specific artifact armor sets locked. I currently have a nearly perfect glamour for my Ishgardian errant knight character, but the problem is he's a SAM, so I can't swap out the Allagan chestpiece and boots he's wearing for the Heavy Allagan versions. He's got very heavy-looking gloves on, the Bonewicca Wildling's Gauntlets, but the rest of that particular set doesn't have a heavily armored look.

I don't want to replace the katana with a different type of weapon, I just want to be able to dress up my character as a Temple Knight with a samurai sword. I know there's Ward Knight armor on the Mog Station, but it's not dyeable and I much prefer the look of metallic silver plate armor with gold/brass accents.

More stuff like the Summer Indigo shirt, where it's just a shirt with no belts or straps or whatever hanging off of it. Like, the Anemos Gambison would have been great without the belt. Just a nice, tight-fitting sweater.
