Such a dumb waste of time.

heres the point jake... BUYING or QUESTING the map is different then just being HANDED the map.. it would be different if we have to buy the maps right now.. well we dont.. they are just given to us as if some rich person just bought them all for me and handed them over.. as well as the other 500k adventurers in this game.

Filling in the map is the same as discovering and remember the map yourself however not being handed the map up front before i ever set foot in that area or get it from someone else.

Heres a concept sort of like yours..

"goes to the store and buys FFXIV"

"hey shop keeper, I have to start at level 1 and beat this game myself?"

"Yeah you lazy *&^% howabout you do something for yourself instead of expecting it all be done for you!"

"But why couldnt this game have been beat for me before i bought it? All im going to do now is look up how to beat everything on google and then eventually just Youtube all the cutscense, what a waste of time!"

Oh you TOTALLY owned me in that one... because you know....ppl never buy fully completed maps to travel in a place they've never visited before.....ever.

I mean , we show up in clothes too, with a tool. Should we arrive naked and unarmed? Where did that stuff come from? Geezus Rice are you guys now telling me that it makes no sense that a traveler in Eorzea might purchase maps to assist him on his journey before they set out?
