Thread: Maps in 2.0

hopefully maps in 2.0 are hidden and not given to us up front. Also where is the adventure in being shown exactly where to go in our journal map?

Maps could be quested/bought or fill in as you search the area.. although I like the first option much better.

Maybe even letting the players "name" the landmarks and camps they find based on the map. Let those names perpetuate throughout the server in one language or another. (maybe not in FFXIV, but in some future MMO).

That would be cool if they add new zones that are inhabited and we have to explore them from zero.
