Glamour Dresser Storage

I hope I am posting in the correct sub-topic.
This is about the Storage Space inside the Glamour Dresser.


I am having a bit of trouble understanding why these is no storage space for the Waist Items inside the Glamour Dresser.
All the other items can be stored in the Glamour Dresser, but not the Waist Items (belts, tassets, etc.)
The Waist Items DO get counted to the Item Level on your Character, but not in the Storage Spaces. This is not logical to me.



I have a few solutions for just that issue...


1: Add Waist Items to Glamour Dresser.
I would very much like to see that the Waist Items get added to the Glamour Dresser.



2: Add Crafting items to the Carpenter Class/Job.
In lots of Dungeons and also MSQ, there are Armor Coffers rewarded to players with complete sets of Gear.
I would like to suggest that the Carpenter Class/Job can create a "Gear Coffer" with a number of slots that can store complete sets of Gear for the player. Also completely editable.

Egsample: Gear Set of 14 peaces, opens in new window, Coffer name can be edited, etc. But only 1 Coffer can be opened at a time.



As I am a Gear collector as in collecting complete sets of Gear, I would find this "Gear Coffer" very useful. Because the "Gear Coffer" only takes up 1 slot.



I truely hope that both offered solutions can be added to the game.

Why do waist items need to be added to the glamour dresser? They don't have an appearance, and the glamour dresser is meant to hold items that have an appearance for the purposes of glamour.

You can't glamour belts.
There's no belts in the glamour dresser.

This wouldn't really work. You can receive gearsets in coffers, but you don't access the coffers themselves - they're technically consumable items that, when used, prompt the game to give you the designated items.

"Putting gear back in the coffer" would functionally need to delete all the other items from your inventory, and give you new items when you open it again. The deleting might not even be possible without writing new programming, and you'd lose any customisation on the item.

Creating accessible coffers isn't feasible, as (judging by past comments they've made regarding requests for a fishing tackle box) it wouldn't create new inventory space but would have to take away from inventory elsewhere. You wouldn't be saving any space.


Also, as others have said, there's no point to storing belts in the glamour dresser - or keeping them at all if you no longer need a belt of that level for the classes that can equip it. If you're asking because you're trying to use the glamour dresser to store every piece of gear you ever receive... you can't. There isn't anywhere near enough space for everything. It's for storing gear you specifically like the appearance of, and intend to use again for glamour. You'll need to store the rest on retainers if you want to keep it, and will probably run out of space there too.
