Unable to complete version check. [30410][30607][20456][404]

This has been resolved. Since nobody ever posts how they resolved these things, here's what I did:

1.) Copied over the game files to a thumb drive - only the boot and game folders
2.) Uninstalled FFXIV and deleted every trace of it from the computer, including the files in Documents
3.) Downloaded the launcher and ran it, signed in and allowed it to start downloading the game. This created all the relevant folders, then I cancelled the download.
4.) Copied over the installation from the thumb drive into the newly created folders
5.) The game was able to launch as normally. Super pleased to have been able to avoid redownloading the game again.

Hi, I recently reinstalled Windows on my computer and in turn FFXIV. But, when I enter my password in the launcher I receive this error. (I am not using the Steam version.)

    Things I have already tried:
    - Restarting my router
    - Restarting my PC
    - Running the program as administrator
    - Disabling firewall
    - Changing the number in BootVersionCheckMode from 0 to 1 in FFXIV_BOOT.cfg
    - Deleting FFXIV_BOOT.cfg
    - Deleting the entire FFXIV folder located in Documents > My Games
    - Copying the game itself to another drive and deleting everything then reinstalling the launcher and copying the game installation into the new folders that were created
    - Trying another Wi-fi network

Help would be greatly appreciated, I want to take my new parts for a spin And I'd REALLY like to avoid having to download the game again since that is an ordeal that takes a week or more generally.
