Housing improvement ideas

I have been thinking about the current housing issues and ways we could at least improve things. I say improve cause who knows if SE will ever give us a better housing system. So going to throw a few ideas on this thread.

Floor control
This idea is about giving personal house owners with Tenants the ability to grant control over one of floor of their home to their tenants while keep the others restricted.

Example: Home owner has Small house and 1 Tenant. Owner wants to let the tenant furnish but not mess with the entire inside. So they give the tenant control of the lower floor while keeping the upper floor restricted.

It would allow personal house owners to grant control over a part of their house without giving away total control. As house owner I dont give my tenants control over the inside of my home as I dont wont my furnishings move around. Floor control would be a way I could grant at least one or more tenants control over a specific floor if I wished to do so.

Now for FC's this same idea could work but be tied to ranks. Though it feels like it would be more of a major headache for FC's. If I have anymore ideas Ill post them, for those that see this thread feel free to post any you might have.

This.. Could actually be good, if done correctly. Allowing players to add their own personal 'touch' to the main FC house / personal home, without breaking what the owner had already put down.

Though I suppose that's what FC 'private rooms' are for?
