How Do You Usually Greet People in DF/PF?

I /examineself to check over what I've been synced to.
Sometimes /lookout to figure out where I am.
/breathcontrol to focus until the barrier drops.
/bstance if there's any pause before everyone starts dashing off.
Maybe /vpose if the pause starts getting awkwardly long.

/breathcontrol? I don't know/have that one. What does it look like when your character does the emote?

After reading the responses, I want to start using "Hi! I'm your healer for this run. Let's do it!" in the auto translate. How would I do this in a macro? (I'm a slow typer)
