A few questions from the "new" player

Are there any scrolls for walking through the air?
In the initial location of Thanalan, I saw a player who ran on a dais through the air. I did not find such a thing that would give me this ability. Completing quests would be much faster with this.

As other people have said, what you saw in Thanalan would have been a bot... but once you get through the original game and into the Heavensward expansion (and everything after that), you'll be able to unlock flight in the new areas added there.

You won't ever be able to fly in the zones you can access at the start of the game, though. They're not designed for it.
