A few questions from the "new" player

Hello. I play about 4+- months. And there are things that I don’t understand a bit.. I would really appreciate it if you could help me understand them.

Can i play invisible?
There were a couple of inexplicable incidents in the game:
- I started the main scenario from the very beginning with my friend. We needed to kill 5 mobs. But in this location, the invisible WHM (it seems like level 80), killed these mobs with one hit. He wrote in a general chat something like "go away little idiots. Go to school." These mobs spawn for a long time. And we just do not have time to run to just appeared. How is this possible?
- Another case. We stood at the entrance to the dungeon. A player with a nickname something like “dgsg dfdsfs» runs up to the NPC, stands next to him, moves away and disappears near the steps. Again, out of nowhere, the same player appears, dressed exactly like the previous one, but with different letters in the nickname, speaks to the NPC and dissolves in the air. And we have counted 14 such players. How can this be? Where do they disappear?

Are there any scrolls for walking through the air?
In the initial location of Thanalan, I saw a player who ran on a dais through the air. I did not find such a thing that would give me this ability. Completing quests would be much faster with this.

Home purchase
Only on the third day I finally got my house in Kugane. But I don’t like its location as much as in the second house.
I watched a video about buying a house. And turning on the movies in the little window, I sat for days, clicking on the sign. I sat and constantly clicked.. to the pain in my hand. I really wanted to buy this house, it was located by the sea.. a beautiful landscape.
I did not pay attention to battle classes, I like to craft. Collect something, etc. And I was glad to collect the required amount and finally buy the beautiful house with this money.
I stood by that house alone. And clicked on the poster. And then .. the player runs on the mount and immediately buys it. Is that such luck? Or the timer shows when this house can be bought? So I sat constantly clicking on the sign and it was all in vain? I do not understand..

I guess the player already had a House and just relocated, for that you dont have to wait, you can relocate a house any given time if the plot is free

I don't buy the first point whatsoever. Nobody would say something that stupid knowing how harsh SE is when it comes to harassment.

This is unfortunately true... Even these forums recently can be a prime example of that, but that's an entirely different can of worms I'd rather not get into at the moment.

In any case, OP I'm sorry to hear you were being bothered like that by other players. It's not a really common thing that happens, but people will be like that sometimes. As for buying a new house, it can be a bit tricky in this game due to the low amount of available plots on a server compared to the demand from players. There will be new wards opening up in each housing district on every server at some point after 5.1 comes out though. While these plots themselves will be only available at first for FCs and those who already have houses who want to transfer, this should also cause a fair amount of other plots from the pre-existing wards to open up. I'm not going to lie, it's still probably going to be pretty chaotic, but with a bit of luck and tenacity you might be able to score a nice plot. Even if it doesn't work out that day, don't give up! It can take some time, but as long as you keep at it I'm sure you'll get your plot. Good luck, and I hope you continue to enjoy the game!

to your first point, this really shouldn't happen that often and you CAN report players such as this for Gameplay Disruption. especially when they say something in chat as GM's will often ask for a copy/paste of the chat interaction.

on the second point, those are also bots. they're macro'd to enter dungeons and farm gil that is sold elsewhere, which is also against the ToS. I've been playing for over 5 years and have made many alts, and I don't really run into too many bots or griefers like this, so I cant imagine its too common.

thanks =) I was afraid that I missed something in this game.. there are a lot of things here, but I speak English not very well.. and in the game there is no way to switch all the menus and item descriptions into my native language .. sometimes it is difficult to find answers to my questions. not sure how helpful it will be, but in case you dont know: you can set up the duty finder to match up with people of a certain language
