    Grand Company Multiselect?

The idea is to have a check box by every item that you wish to turn in & then a 'Submit/Exchange Selected' option at the bottom. This would save time by allowing you to mass turn in items as opposed to the current system of individually turning Items in 1 by 1.

    Example:

    [X] Item
    [X] Item
    [X] Item

I have created a mock concept of what this could look like. It's done in paint so lol please excuse it being terrible!

'Toggle' would allow you to set an item to 'Ø' which would prevent it from being selected in a 'Select All'.

i really like the idea, and feel we could really use something like this. however, keep in mind that the Square/X button is used for the context menu. i suppose they could make it so you would highlight the boxes separately from the actual item. this would allow changing the function of Square/X while in the check box column. they would have to do the same thing for Triangle/Y, because even when having a window open you still jump.

either way, we for sure could use this.

I've suggested this in the past as well, so bumping this to keep it visible for a bit longer for the likes.

On one hand yeah, cool , convenient.. on the other.. I can see myself accidentally checking something I do not want to trade in and only realizing it's gone when I go to do something with it.
I guess you could stick it in your armory chest or quadruple check before you hit "OK"... but.. that's my only reservation. Little too easy to accidentally GCC things away. I'm not sure how much time this would save those who need to go back over the list 20 times to make sure things aren't checked incorrectly... .. I may have slight hoarding anxiety.

You can already accidentally sell stuff now, so that's no different. And you can also already filter for other options than just non-armoury chest. For example, I find the "Hide all gear set items" to be the best option to avoid turning something in that I want to keep. The glamour chest has been a great option here too, since if I want to keep something not it a gear set then it's very likely for glamour. There's also nothing stopping you from choosing only 3 or 4 at a time if it makes it feel safer.

As someone who's already has a full armory chest and near full glamour dresser, I still have concerns. But I can see how this would be useful to some, so I'm not completely opposed, I just wanted to bring up some possible snafus.

There's nothing new about the "snafus" you bring up, though. They already exist in the current system since you can't completely code away human error, and to be honest even the best UI can only hand hold the player so far. There's already a confirmation button asking do you really want to do this in place, and this wouldn't change. There's even an option in place in his suggestion that would mark an item as safe, presumably saved so that every time you open the menu like with the quest log it's still marked to not be used, which goes even further to prevent human error than what we currently have now.

This guy gets it! I never even thought about the quest log keeping things hidden and that sort of functionality, which is funny since that's where I stole the icon, but yeah, that would imply/suggest to me that saving it to your character is a possible thing to help prevent accidental turn ins of those items you really want to keep. I really want this to be a thing!

That would be a good idea .

As to making a mistake ,they need only make it work like when you sell things to a vendor .

Don't care one way or the other, but +1 anyway for bothering to make an illustration.
