they normally don't let "new" items get turned in for a bit same goes for eden/savage gear etc etc
should be able to trade them in next patch

I honestly think this should be fixed though, especially for X.0 patches. Considering how much gear we go through in this opening gear cycle (Goetia, Eden NM, deepshadow, Savage), I'm left with a stack of gear which I can't trade for anything, with the only option being to discard it. Even if they made only the goetia and NM gear exchangable, and even if they made it worth half the seals initially, that would be better than what we have now.

as annoying as it might be its there fail safe for people accidentally trading in there best gear and asking GM for there one time item return
