Best way to set up account for family member!

A bit of research into issues associated with the creation of multiple accounts returns as many horror stories as it does facts; but perhaps someone who has made this work recently can suggest a process that is less likely to invoke the wrath of, well, whatever is gonna get upset?

My daughter, who has no resources besides giggles, wants to play. So, setting up an account for her on my nickel seems to be the method of making it happen. However, I understand that issues sometimes arise when the email and/or credit card associated with an existing account are used to create a new account. I'm speaking here of a game account, not a service account; i.e. separate login ID, separate PW, separate email.

Anyone who has made this work have suggestions? Any help here to avoid "omg you can't do it that way (after the money is spent)" would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I've no issue paying for two different accounts (both seperate emails), one NA and one EU for over a year. NA account I pay for with my credit card set to reoccurring, and my EU account I pay with crysta manually each month (bought crysta with paypal because of conversion).

If you want to avoid possible complications then it's probably a good idea to pay your second account's sub with crysta and on a seperate business day so you don't get two similiar charges in a day.

I had this issue, so I do reply to add a game acc rather than creating another. My cc was being rejected for paying my nephew game, sub and mog purchases.
You can buy those crystas but I think it's a one more step that is annoying, rather than the one click with cc.

You could buy game time cards for your daughter and never give any credit card info for that account.

At one point, I had 3 accounts on the same card, me, my wife, and our kid. Never a problem. You'll probably have to lie about their age, but as long as you are the parent, SE won't mind. Use your DOB for theirs. I've had many conversations with customer support and they are very helpful with families that play together.

I paid for a friend of mines account for two months on the same card I pay for my sub (on accident he thought he switched it to his card and an error on mine due to not even realizing it) and there was no real issue except for me finding out that I had paid for 2 months of his sub and out 30 dollars. He paid me back with Slepneir when it was still around that price ^__^
