Monk Af Need Help

I have done the darkhold part and have the one you just go and get. Now I need the one by Turning Leaf and the U'Ghamaro Mines. I was told you could get the one by Turning Leaf solo. I've tried twice and managed to kill a nice bystander blk mage. ( I'm sorry whoever you are.) I can get run past the 4 wolves and 2 spriggins but while I'm running for my life I run into the trees and then I'm dead. Not sure how to go about this.

And the mines I've gotten past the two gates but of course once inside wow there are like 15+ Kobolds. I was told I need a party but how many and what set up? Also once I get these two done what do I need for the last quest? How many people and what kind of set up.

I loved Holy Dragons guide to Dragoon AF and wish we had some for all the quests.

You have to walk by the trees, I think its the x button on your keyboard, if you run by them you get hit for 9999, which I am sure you are aware of

trees are sound aggro you have to walk past them. press x to walk.

You need to fight your way there if you cannot survive running, then walking when near trees while healing yourself. You can try it on Pug, that way you can cure yourself, you don't need to be on the respective job to acquire the pc of AF gear out of the boxes. Could also drag a friend along, 2 is always greater then 1.

As per the mines. Basically you run down the entrance tunnel, where it starts becoming all yellow, and then open the first gate. Afterwards, all I did was run and train the mobs up to the North West corner area. The mobs will leash if you go back against the wall in the tunnel. Try not to get aggro from the mobs at the gate until you are ready.

Heal up, and kill the first few in the tunnel area. You need to be fast, one has a really fast respawn. When safe, run to the gate and stand in the corner, and aggro only one mob. If you hug walls this can be accomplished. After gates open, enter swiftly and kill whatever aggro you have on you. Mind you though I did this on Drg. <(u.u)>/

Okay how do I walk past the trees when I'm running from the wolves and the spriggins?

cast stone skin it should give you enough time for them to de-aggro. If you dont have stone skin i think you can get it as an item to use(not sure though, i know protect is an item from GC). Also you have second wind, feel free to use that. featherfoot, rampart, sentinel, protect, anything you have to reduce damage while walking.

Spriggans you can kill, just dont move when your doing it. If you have cnj or thm you can sleep everything.

Spriggans only aggro if they touch you, just avoid bumping into them. Walk past trees as others have suggested, and just kill the wolves on the way. When you fight near a tree you can't move around with your weapon out, your only movement with a weapon drawn is running, so you gotta stay still. You'll also find delay after putting your weapon away, give the game a few seconds to realize you're back in walking mode.

Walk the other way around, The toads are sight aggro, the Spriggans are touch aggro. The toads should be easy to run past and then quickly walk before you get near any Guardians (sound aggro). If the Sprigs attack, you can stand still and fight, just make sure your weapons are away before you continue near any Guardians. Just did this and died once trying to run through the wolves, decided to go the other way and it worked out. There are a ton of trees, but as long as you're walking they wont attack.

Just did this solo...

Pass the toad on the first left into the area, loop around up to the second level and WAIT for the spriggan to patrol up and away, then walk to the clearing to the left and wait for the spriggan to pass again, and walk onto the bridge, get to the end and wait for the next spriggan to walk up and away, following behind him.

At this point you can easy get to turning leaf and then to the box.

try this path you should not run into any hostiles except maybe 1 toad, trees, and spriggans.
