To you that looks like 1 inventory slot. To the game its still 50 slots, because it still needs to know which 50 bait you have in there and how many of each. Theyve said that the amount of data tied to a character is large enough that too many of them teleporting at once could cause server instability and crashes. It would be great if they could simplify the bait system. In the meantime, youre only ever out fishing for at most a couple specific types of fish at a time right? Only have those 2 or 3 types of bait on you. Most bait is ridiculously easy to re-acquire, so just get it when you need it. Problem solved.Or se finally dös what makes Sense and adds container boxes that work like sub inventories to reduce the like 50 plus slots of bait literally into just 1 single Iren to open up to get to See the 50 baust that Are containted in that box that requires only 1 inventories Slot.
Do I Look like as if it makes me Fun to Wänste permanently Gil on having constantly rebuy baust and other many items of Same Type that clutter the inventory full, just because SE is so far unable or Even unwilling to give their game a proper inventory System that doesn't Force its Players to such nonsense just to have enough space for all the stuff you get over the Course of playing normally the game.
That Server Stability eyplanation is just a cheap excuse for not wanting to put the neccessary effort into the server that would be needed to solve the issue, because naturally these efforts mean for SE to invest money into their Server structures to improve them and thats I guess the simple root problem here - SE doesn't want to give the budget money needed for this the FF14 dev team.
I'm sure, if the dev Team would have the time and Budget for it, that the game would have already a better inventory System, but in the end, its SE, which decides over it, for which things Yoshida and Co get money to work with.
