Warrior of Light to Darkness to ???

The journey started out as WoL with being the Beacon of Light for the Source thus the Warrior of Light until 5.0 where WoL became the Returner of Darkness for the First thus the Warrior of Darkness.

Now I am curious where the story is going with WoL's development now we are going into 5.1 and beyond.

Will things lead to being a Warrior of Light again or will things turn towards something more such as a Warrior of Dawn or Warrior of Despair.

In the lead-up to Shadowbringers, i could have seen us maybe becoming the Warrior of Balance or just the Warrior of the Source, or whatever. But we never really did become the Warrior of Darkness, did we? All that abyssal-flame, actual-Darkness stuff in the trailer never came to be. We just brought back the night ... using Hydaelyn's gift.

I wouldn't be surprised if Elidibus riling people up to fight the Warrior of Light-turned-Darkness leads to our new title after we clear up that deliberate-misunderstanding, even if it's just going back to business as usual and reclaiming Warrior of Light.

From how things went through the storyline, the title were more of what we repesented rather than our Good and Evil alignment nor our powers.

For the Warrior of Light title we represented the Beacon of Light for the Source that light the way for many people during the dark times which is even represented more in 5.0 as we seen the WoL story is the beacon of light for a world that is considered doomed into Darkness because of a Calamity.

For Warrior of Darkness title, we represented the Return of Darkness to the First so that the Light cannot consume the world. yes we still use Light to return the Darkness but it was not because of our powers that we are given the title but what we did being the return of darkness.

Borrowing a plot point from FFXI, and call us the 'Warrior of the Crystal'? (It would make far more sense than FFXI's in any event).

Possible outcome as well if the story does things right since 6.0 maybe the end of Season 1 with 6.1 to 6.3 being the Epilogue chapters or True Ending of Season 1 story.

Well, the OG Warriors of Light turned Warriors of Darkness have already taken on a Ark Angel style aesthetic with the Cardinal Virtues... Foreshadowing?

(complete side point, but now that I think about it, I'd love a Cardinal Virtues Trial, similar to Divine Might... perhaps some future Ultimate content)

Why would we even need more titles like that? WoD is already imo quite meaningless since we only got that because WoL would be bad PR on the shard. But deep down we did nothing different there either. So imo I am fine if we stuck just with the two of them.

we did a lot there to be called warrior of light yet the term light is apply that those who are warrior of light is someone nobody knew in battle between Bahumat they said they can't remember who those bravery adventurers so they called them the warrior of light. in this why we called the warrior of light. through I wonder if we are more warrior of life because of my theory on Zodark be a being the devour live aether.

"Become what you must" kind of lost its impact when it was really just a surface level title.

"Become what you must....the same thing you always were but with a different title."

I was rewatching the official trailer last evening and was struck by the fact that all we see up until the 'parting of the skies' happens before the Exarch brings us to the Source, if we believe that the narrative is linear.

The quote is something like "if history is to be unwritten, let it be unwritten" ... followed by that last bit of fighting and the sky turning back to night. Pretty much what we do in-game, but different enough that the trailer couldn't actually be called 'spoilers'.
