Fine whatever. I honestly don't see this happening. There are more max level gather bots that SE won't do anything about yet they are worried about this. Shows where their priorities are.

I joined a Frontline today that showed "0 minutes" when the queue popped. Even though the battle hadn't started yet, apparently someone had left after the party filled, flagging it as "in progress" and I got 0 tomes for completing it. Seems unnecessary.
That was more due to how the Frontline queuing system works. When the Frontlines were first introduced you would often end up with one person failing to confirm in the 72 person group causing a failed queue and the duty finder reorganize pop again and the fail due to one person failing to confirm. This was changed so that the system would transfer everyone who had confirmed into the zone and then the system would fill the slots of those that failed to confirm with in-progress players.
You ended up getting one of those failed to confirm slots.
A simple fix would be to make it so empty slots in duty finder groups can only be refilled by fetching random players via the duty finder, and disallow inviting specific players. That's what WoW does, I think.
you can't invite people into duties, they use duty finder like everyone else.
I'm pretty sure the majority of MSQ runs aren't done by premade parties of 4+ people who would even be able to pull that off. And no one in their right mind runs MSQ for moogle tomes, just to plot kicking someone before the end to get someone else in.
seems like they do run it for moogles, on that cutscene skip thread someone said that more people started to skip cutscenes when the event started.
