Should commendations be revised?

You do know most only give them based on persons glamour and looks not on how well they did. So system to it is broken and need to be fixed.

it doesn't say it has to be on how well they did. it says left a good impression and how you look affects that.

people com for names too. it's the players choice for why they com.

Seriously though, SE is pretty smart on disallowing comm giving in premades. I can just see the drama stirring from that if they allowed otherwise.

Since I have no idea who did what during a dungeon run, I don't bother to give out commendations.
Also, I Still haven't learned the role icons yet, so if the healer raised me 10 times, I can't identify who the healer is from the list to give him one.

If you're running as a DPS, the list will always be:

Tank
Healer
DPS

The only times it's different, is if you're running an 8 man duty, then it's(if you're a DPS)

I would like to be able to commend more than 1 player in my group.

There are times where 2 players in the group perform well enough that its hard to pick between them and it would be great to be able to commend both of them with some kind of box that lets you select multiple players to commend.

The way people seem to decide who to give it to is definitely flawed. I'm not sure how to fix it, but I mean. I get a lot of commendations no matter what role I am, and I know it's not 'cause I'm good. My name usually just sticks out on the list between John Lorefriendlykeysmashlastname and Definitelynot'cloud Strife.

I agree with this, I met so many toxic and rude mentors in Praetorium.

I'll much more readily commend a good DPS over a good tank/healer because they seem to be rarer and DPS in general tend to get less commends even if the healer/tank are subpar.
