Grinding and working hard are two very different things. If something is easy, it doesn't matter how much you do it, you still haven't proven that you don't suck at the game. So all you've done is waste your time. Grinding is a compromise for lazy/bad players to feel rewarded for not improving themselves. Ironic that someone like that would call others "lazy."
