I absolutely agree. This is more prevalent in the crafting/gathering aspect of the game. Back in 3.x when favors were introduced, it basically gave players a goal to work towards, even if it meant grinding constantly to be on top. The fact that it was removed due to developers listening to “its too hard. change it.” complaints/whining, shows a lot about this game’s community and dev team. I recommend playing games like call of duty or black Desert Online...or monster hunter world. Where developers do not and will not tolerate laziness, and only opt for grinding and hard work, because it shows that players enjoy what they put in the game, and if they don’t like the grind, they can play something else.

This is literally the only game I’ve ever played in my entire life where developers dumb down gaming mechanics to meet demands of lazy players. I’m going to get hate for saying this but someone has to say it, lol. You are a hero for posting this.
