When the last fanfest ended without a picture of a Ishgardian ward I figured it wasn't in the cards this xpac. The reoccurring deflections @ ishgard housing have always been along the lines of "Ishgard needs to recover from war!" so I'm hoping that after we fix it up it'll be a 6.0 thing.

I'm all for it being FC only but I hate inconsistency and SE does that all the time. The ideal would be to give an ultimatum to people for a good 3 or 4 months and make all housing FC only and the size of the housing each FC can buy should be proportional FC members and FC rank. If you want a personal one you'd have to buy an apartment.

But instead SE makes one questionable decision after another when it comes to housing in this game.

Any current owner, individual or FC, will be able to relocate to the new wards. A relocation is not treated as a new purchase and the game does not take into consideration owner type. This was clarified when wards 13-18 were added in 4.2.

The outside furnishings also exceeded the storage limit, but not by such an impressive amount so I figured I'd spare you the screenshot

The screenshot shows you at 370, which is less than the temporary limit of 400 allowed during relocation.

If you're relocating from a small, you won't have any problems because your placed limit is 200 and your normal storage limit is 200, for a total of 400.

It is a problem for those with a medium or a large. Mediums can have 300 placed and 300 in storage for a total of 600, 200 more than the temporary storage limit. Larges can have 400 placed and 400 in storage for a total of 800, 400 more than the temporary storage limit.

If I check my medium to see if I'm able to relocate, this is what I get:


I would need to reduced the combined placed+stored interior items from 510 to 400, and the exterior items from 58 to 40 before I would be able to relocate.
