Thread: 5.1 New crafted crafting gear?

I figure crafting HQ stuff may get harder with the changes. and if there is new gear, it will be a lot more expensive than I'm willing to pay. I suspect I'll get new tools from quests as usual. Hopefully, this will carry me though most of the 5.1 content with sufficient materia.

We are getting new gathering nodes, items, and recipes.

So at least decent odds on new crafting / gathering gear. No better than that though.

Well, now that it's known the rankings aren't arriving until 5.2, I don't think anyone's going to be in a big hurry to get the latest gear and what not.

I for one welcome having more time finish overmelding my new gear.

The notes and interview does make it sound like 5.1 is the testing ground so they can see how it all shakes out in the end.
