What're the rules for world transfer around housing?

I know there is no 'housing transfer' (Which i think is incredibly unreasonable) but there are a couple of things that are unclear to me.
If you rescind your ownership of a house, is everything in the storeroom lost? And if not, can those items be transferred to another world with your character? Or is it back to square one completely?
This one is probably a dumb question, but if you rescind house ownership, i assume you don't receive any money back. Is that true? And if so, is there any way to at least have the money when you transfer? Or are you just out of luck?
I ask because I've been considering moving worlds to get more out of the game, but with a house, i'm sadly out of luck unless i fuggin... buy the money or something. [Joking, of course.] Is there anything that i can do in my situation?

You will need to put any furniture you wish to keep in your personal inventory or on your retainers. Each housing space you own has it's own unique storage attached to it and that storage will go when the housing does as well. The only way to get money from the server at the moment is if you do not enter the property for 45 days and then the server takes the property back, allowing you to collect 80% of the gil spent on the plot & leftover furnishings from the Resident Caretaker npc (which keeps it for 35 days before permanently obliterating the gil and any leftover items from the house). Just note that the npc only gets the gil/items if the server itself takes your house from inactivity. Nothing will be held if you manually initiate the removal of the property. There used to be a reimbursement when transferring from a congested world to a preferred server awhile back but that doesn't currently appear to be mentioned here.

edit: Missed the other transfer section at the top. The bottom portion talks about reimbursement, but requires moving from/to servers with a specific status.
