legend of the not so hidden mine

this is a level 75 MSQ that i cannot beat. i run the maze with no problem but when i get to the fight i die. all u tube show a normal fight with my partners sending me in to get the heart while they hold off the two enemies. when i run it everything goes the same but i die in an explosion during the fight before they can tell me to get the heart. i have run it about 30 times with same result. it is a level 75 quest, i am 78. gear is max 406, i am at 395 but i do not think that can make the difference.

can someone please help. i cannot proceed in the game without finishing this quest.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but I didn't bother with Ran'jit and just focused on his ally. I did it as SAM and as DNC.

It’s because you can’t equip your hammer. You’re feeling doubtful and worried you don’t have the strength to beat Ran’jit but know this, the power to do so us been inside you all along. The hammer was just a physical representation this whole time. Believe!
