could just use the item the 4th floor gives instead of using it on a tome stone trade 4 in for weapon

This would invalidate every even patch EX trial weapon, which i doubt they would do, you can't make it weaker than the EX trial weapon because then what is the point(It would be 5 ilvs below which would be 5 ilvs above upgraded tomestone weapon from previous tier) and you can't make it equal or stronger to the trial weapon as you would invalidate the content.

If you were to put a timer to get the weapon(i.e. weeks to obtain) then what would be the point, there is already a tomestone one to wait on.

For people who could benefit the most from a normal raid weapon don't really need it, Ronkan would work fine and then upgrading to Deepshadow after 7 weeks would fulfill their needs if they need that ilv increase there is crafted/EX trial but unless doing savage even Deepshadow is overkill for content at lv80 right now.

wouldnt really invalidate it if its weekly locked imo, but i agree that nobody would really benefit from it. savage raiders would only consider the weapon based on substats and everyone else would be fine with old tome weapons
