Best is you dont even have an aoe on some jobs till 38... while DNC has two on 34 lol

I like to enjoy my easy rotations in my easy low level dungeons. Stick to appropriate level dungeons if you just want to level with all your abilities. They still give pretty good exp even without leveling roulette.
i wish we at least all had aoes since sastasha. they already "reworked" a bunch of skills (such as removing aetherflow from scholar until lv 45 for god knows what reason), what did it cost them to give melee dps some aoe to make runs faster? if they cant give us our full skillset we should at least have the basics
If you're too bored doing low level content, don't do low level content. By extension, don't do leveling roulette, a roulette which is specifically designed for not-at-level-cap content.
This isn't difficult to understand.
I do agree with this one though. As things stand now, DPS that lack an aoe ability in these lower level instances are probably getting outdamaged by tanks, even with optimal play.i wish we at least all had aoes since sastasha.
Definitely agree. I get exciting new skills.... aaaaaand then can't use them in the dungeon.
And then when I do get into an a-level dungeon, I forget the skill is even there because of the numerous roulettes I just did without it.
I adapt. It isn't something that will ever make me quit, but I agree it would be nice to be able to use my full rotation in every piece of content, even if the potency had to be severely limited.
I have brought this up twice in the past and everyone always has the same response- little newbies only have one or two abilities, so everyone should have one or two abilities so that the little new people don't get scared off or feel left out. I would love to have my full rotation, but alas, the vast player base here disagrees with it.
Both times I've made threads, it was the same- pages of pages of people in favor of the current limitation system.
The thread should have ended after this post. One should not forget that those dungeons are not included in the roulette system to accomodate higher level players, but to help the ones who are at that stage in their game progression. The game reward you for the inconvenience with a nice chunk of exp (if you still need such thing) and/or various currencies. If you got a role in need you even get more compensation for having to suffer those15-20 minutes of hardship.
You don't get exp for these dungeons. You get a pity "bonus" for finishing your roulette that amounts to less than half the exp you'd have gotten if it were an appropriately-leveled dungeon. The leveling roulette system in this game has always been abysmal, but there's not much to be done about it.One should not forget that those dungeons are not included in the roulette system to accomodate higher level players, but to help the ones who are at that stage in their game progression. The main issue is that they butchered all the jobs down to literally nothing at low levels so doing those dungeons is no longer interesting. They continue to water down jobs and don't do anything to compensate being synced, probably because they already don't know how to balance the game at 80 as it is. Games are supposed to be fun, but I doubt anyone will say getting Sastaha or Toto-Rak as a level 78 trying to get to Mt. Gulg is "fun" for their roulette when they're locked out of playing their job. Getting a low level dungeon essentially takes your job away from you because you lose all the skills that define the rotation.
I wonder how many time it would take for people to start silently kicking low level players from the group, to try to get a high level one with more useful aoes, skills and utilities instead. Probably not too long XD And what all the other issues that would be created could be.
"Lf for a remplacement dps for Aurum Vale ! If you are a level 63- RDM dont bother joining, we are not interested in someone not having Verraise."
Why is my full 4 man 70+ party shoved into Sastasha when queueing for Leveling roullette, then? There is no lowlevel newbie to help. It's just needlessly frustrating. One should not forget that those dungeons are not included in the roulette system to accomodate higher level players, but to help the ones who are at that stage in their game progression.
