I'm on the Kugane Lampost, Hyperion

I'm standing, on a lamp post in Kugane on Hyperion. Sight Seeing log Stormblood #053.

Normally it takes a mighty, MIGHTY leap of faith after a jump puzzle to get up here, but I've got nothing better to do, I'm watching animie, and I'm bored.

As long as you've got a way to die in town, close enough for me to revive you, you'll get up here, next to me, to "/lookout" and collect it for yourself.

The easiest way to get this is the self destruct ability for Blue Mages. (Western Thanalan, use the Horizon Atherite).

15 minutes of work, including unlocking BLU.

Ain't no big thing, but it might just save you a few hours of work.

What does this mean?! Can u rez someone and spawn them on the lampost?? Also congrats on getting there, I had enough of the jumping after an hour...I wish u could save progress lol. Im too lazy to try again and again and not even reach the top cuz it gets so annoying

I've been up there for more then the hour I planned, but I did get the first two Kindness of Strangers achievements.

I'm hoping to get enough folks to come by and explode to get me all 5, but it might take a bit longer then I thought.

Could you show this stranger some kindness and spread my post around a bit?

I'm back on the lamppost, apparently I can log out here and still be up here.

So, another day of chilling on a lamp, resurrecting people so they can skip the jump puzzle. Just show up and explode.

Over the last few days, I've helped more then 50 people up onto a lamp post in the middle of Kugane. Sometimes it was quiet and boring. Sometimes it was a party in a tiny tiny box.

I had people show up from the forum post, from the party finder, and people who just heard me shout and walked up.


It was a pretty good time.
