I think the way to get it to show the cooldown is like this:
/ac "Nascent Flash" <2>
/macroicon "Nascent Flash"

Nascent Flash able to cast on self. Yes please!!!
Common sense is not so common anymore.

Sad day indeed when a Samurai survivability is higher than that of a Warrior and it's all thanks to Bloodbath, an ability that was Warriors to begin with.
Last night I tried solo Alexander - The Fist of the Father to get an accessory for this week fashion report. I went in as WAR iLv.445 and I could not beat the boss, it took too long to kill the boss before debuff stack become unmanageable. Equilibrium is not enough to keep me alive with a 60 sec cool down. I tried 4 times and failed. Had I only able to cast Nascent Flash on myself then that would be more than enough to keep me alive.
I re-entered the instance as SAM iLv.452 and I beat the boss on my first go with no where near being in danger. SAM dammage was high enough that the boss die quickly and Bloodbath was the key for my survival.
My point being, either give WAR back Bloodbath or make Nascent Flash able to cast on self.
Common sense is not so common anymore.

This is probably my biggest complaint about war right now. It's even s bigger issue in frontlines pvp. I hate the target requirement on nf.
I may regret acting like that person, but I don't really have any problem with Narcscent Flash.
I was already teaching myself to quickswap in battle to use Shirk without a macro (I still use the macro because it tells me when Shirk is ready again, but sometimes I don't have the time to reach over with the cursor). So quickswapping to target the party healer or my co-tank is... really not an issue.
While i really dont care about it much in normal PvE (as it only is helpful in extremely niche situations as this is not a solo game), the pvp issue is legit. I have simply not played war in pvp for months because nascent flash is virtually unusable in frontlines/alliance pvp. Youre utterly innefective doing anything alone like win a dual to steal a point and party members are all over the map. The other tanks are just straight up better in pvp now for a variety of reasons. Nascent in pvp is just garbage. In traditional pve its still great.

The PvP situation is a crisis.
And like, I love Nascent Flash as an idea, but this implementation is way too clunky for PvP. There's definitely been times in The Feast when I threw it up on someone being bursted, spammed AOE, and made the difference in keeping them alive. Though in frontlines even if you are quick with it as I am, it's cumbersome as heck. Allowing self-target would be amazing and honestly marginally effect balance in The Feast, where it would undoubtedly help the lone survivor warrior which considering we don't have anything like HG or TBN is fine.

It's not just nf. War needs the whole infuriate mechanic adjusted because it essentially removes the need to do stormspath combo in a frontlines setting.
Onslaught doubling as a stun is also terrible. I wish we got brutal swing back for pvp.
As for pve, target requirement ought to be removed. Or the whole nf skill needs to be reworked somehow so a macro doesn't feel as mandatory as it does now.

Hating NF? Do you not care about hPS?![]()
