If you want more masculine jumping around, go play mcn. That class sure does jump around a lot for someone with a gun lol. You'd think it might throw off your aim.....

This was honestly my biggest fear when the job was announced as I was too sure it would be a job catered to females. To my relief, I find it rather unisex - the dance moves are swift and flamboyant, but that's...literally what dancing is, and it's rather elegant, unlike a certain healer that was intentionally designed to look as kawaii as possible because only girls play healer /s.

I assume you mean white mage - and I disagree (regardless of which one you meant). There's nothing "kawaii" about my male Elezen healer - he looks like an elegant mage casting spells. Spins and sparkling lights don't inherently make something feminine.
Maybe because being an Elezen already gives him enough grace to cover it up, but it looks very much girly on say, a Roe. AST has tons of twirls and glitter too yet doesn't have the same 'cute' vibe WHM gives off.
I dunno, the WHM combat stance, the legs are too spread apart to be called feminine. This was honestly my biggest fear when the job was announced as I was too sure it would be a job catered to females. masculinity's a bit frail

I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one that just likes the job for what it is and really just wants 1 change. All these threads about it is all change this, change that, I don't like this, I hate that. What scares me is SE reads all this crap. I hope they just keep on ignoring the job.

I like it as well. I just feel that they could have made it more like; the setup when you start with your dances could be soft and elegant then after that it could turn into something more inclined to actual fighting but still with flashy elegant moves.
Asian martial arts, boxing and dancing is not that far off from each other.
Most of the times it just feels like when I'm looking at my character that the dancing would just be annoying when you try to throw chakrams around because it doesn't IMO feel like the chakram fighting part always line up well with the step moves.
I would love to see something like a butterfly kick and when you turned in air you would throw the chakrams. Or why not a backflip kick where you throw the chakrams at the start.
And before someone mentions it; yes I know Chakram Kata is not very flashy but why not make it more like disc fighting in Tron then? Disc Wars from 2010 Tron: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyoKXfBQgX?
