My problem with leveling up in FFXIV.

1) I did not complain about chocobos I said I didn't want to run around a map on my chicken after working all day and not having much time.

1. You insulted a key mascot of the game by referring to it as a chicken.

the last thing I want to do is read and travel around a map

2) I did not complain about traveling I said I didn't just want to spend a lot of time running around on a map with not having a lot time.
3) I did not complain about reading but AGAIN reading with only an hour or two to play.

the game play is so mediocre imo.

4) I said nothing about gameplay at all

The whole point was that with little time in the afternoon I wanted to be more involved than just running around a map and reading.

If that was the point, then why is your only question

? Cause it really comes off as a trash post when your looking for fellow players to complain with because you didn't actually ask for advice in your trashpost:

I’m a pretty new player so take this from my point of view but I have had some issues with leveling in the game.

Until you get to the final expansion there seems to be no reason at all to do any questing other than the msq. And yeah FFXIV seems to do a great job for story but the problem for me has been that you do very little gameplay or experiencing the world and spend most your time traveling and reading all the story text. So when I get home at night and have an hour or two to play, the last thing I want to do is read and travel around a map so I end up just playing a low lvl job and doing levees so that I can relax and get some game action.

Am I alone here?
