I was a black mage in XI and I was really looking forward to playing the role of an in-depth whm class.
FFXIV needs a class that everyone can look at and say, "hey- that dude heals pick 'em up." I wanted to be that guy since others are unreliable and I do it best.

Other DoM want to do the complete opposite and blow sh-- into nothingness. However, they are auto-lumped into the category of healer which makes me less special and takes away from their enjoyment.

This is why WHM needs to be added to FFXIV
