Really, it's a Final Fantasy staple. Albeit almost certainly an advanced role but.. yeah, it would be a travesty if Final Fantasy XIV never sees Summoners in some form.
my exact thinkning. that's like never seeing cid in this one nor riding a chocobo. these are final fantasy staples and should always be involved in some form or another. i would love to see summoning a creature with the graphics this game has.
