"Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty" are most likely meant to be NieR: Automata references (2B's and 9S's default weapons are Virtuous Contract and Cruel Oath) but if there is double meaning (almost certainly) I have a feeling it will be dealing with the aftermath of Eulmore's regime change. Cruel treatment wrapped up in a pretense of lawfulness and civility was Vauthry's (and by extension the free citizenry's) whole MO for the past 10 years or so. Some political upheaval is to be expected now that Eulmorans no longer have an immediate threat to be distracted by.
The posh, Eulmorian-looking new dungeon and pictures of the Chais we were shown during the Live Letter also point in that direction.

Well, the OoD is tied to the 8-man raids, so we likely won't be getting back into that plot point until 5.2.

I think it's unlikely because that's tied to the Eden raids and we won't be getting the next part until 5.2. If they stick to the SB and HW release schedule, we can expect Alliance raids in odd-numbered patches and Normal/Savage in even-numbered ones.

We could honestly loose Ishtola and I wouldn't bat an eye. She has become quite a self righteous, annoying little brat and removing her from the story would be of no loss. Unfortunately she is the xiv poster child, which makes her attitude that much more surprising.

I still want to see us obtain both light and dark and perhaps do, or be perceived as doing, both. Become an actual WoD (take up the powers of Zodiarc not that evil doer everyone defaults to thinking when WoD is mentioned) for a bit then in the end harness both the light and dark bringing an end to the ascian storyline so 6.0 can be something fresh. We have been dealing with Garlemald and the Ascians since 2010....it is seriously time to move on.
