That's a bummer you lost progress on the the fight but I'd like to add it seems to be a rather rare issue since this is the first time I've heard of it- lots of people completing the event on lower dps jobs as well (tanks/healers). Personally completed it on Paladin without issue.

So I'd give it another whirl and if it happens at 0% again and he didn't finish his 1 hit knockout move then you've got a rare bug report on your hands :O.
