for those that don't know, Dancer hardly has a rotation, it's pretty much use whatever is lit and if nothing is lit you use your first 2 moves till something lights up
start by using a step, then use the lit moves as they light, finish the step then fight. if you have another player or an NPC use closed position on them if it's available. that's it.




yes it was displaying 0% on my side but apparently not on the server itself

him dying won't help you if he already launched his nuke propably, we also have 0,0% hp values displayed now and I can't test the fight if it just ends instantly after you deplete all of his hp even after he has finished his cast.

oh I know it won't but what I was seeing on my side was me giving him loads of damage and his health hit 0% within plenty of time yet he stayed standing and his meter kept going down. this tells me the server wasn't poling as fast as my client was and really makes me not want to play the game

That fight wasn't the most difficult fight in the MSQ line- not by far. I beat it on my first try as a BLM. By then, you'd already had plenty of practice fighting him (even by using Thancred) and there wasn't really anything new. I barely remembered the fight and had to look it up to remember what the fight entailed. Obviously the fight wasn't memorable.

So yeah, either something bugged and screwed up, or you missed something. That's all. You get over it and go again. That happens sometimes in games. You move on.
