I will say though their comments when they revive are hilarious... had both Y'shtola and Alphinaud die on me to the two diremite type trash mobs at the first block in Holmeister and when Y'shtola got her raise she said ,"well that's embarrassing."

This is why I use Alphinaud, you can't trust Uri XD
Alphinaud, while being the most talkative (at least for me he is), can also heal Thancred tanking multiple packs, Urianger cannot :V

But Urianger randomly casts Death which is freaking awesome XD

He what?! I guess I should have pulled bigger. I've only run Holminster as a tank and healer with them, something to keep in mind if I ever go in as DPS.

It’s totally random! Doesn’t have to be in big pulls, one time he did it on one of the demon wall sin eater things in Mt Gulg, I couldn’t stop cracking up

He has an audio que when he's about to cast it. He'll say Begone! Though when he started to cast it with me he canceled it due to Ryne killing the monster.

I've honestly never seen my trust NPCs get KO'd once in the several dozen runs I've done.

I feel like you need to be directing mechanics towards them for that to ever happen.

The trust NPCs seems to have unique abilities that they use randomly. I've seen Thancred use Shukuchi, Alphi uses his 'Release', I think Y'shtola casts some kind of giant tornado, I also caught Ryne about to cast something but the mob died before she could get it off and hasn't used it since lol. Maybe someone here can help me here with what she ultimately does.
