Wasn't sure where to mention this but I had an interestingly decent conversation in a shout chat about something I hadn't considered. In regards to RP'ers including myself, we usually find most hubs and RP based around the quicksand(unfortunately considering the ERP'ers there...). Before I get ahead of myself, Fellowships are something that was announced to be implemented into FFXIV as a means to collect players together for objectives of like mind through a message board-like system that can hold up to 1000 players.

You are able to join a minimum of 10 I believe and well, this will do RP a great service. For those of you who have always wanted to see RP in Ishgard, Kugane, the Steppe, Norvrandt, Limsa, and so on popular areas... This is a great chance to do exactly that. Players will be able to make fellowships based on those areas and post messages when RP will be happening at which spot of the map. We will finally see more populated RP hubs after people get used to fellowships for a bit. Just posting scenes or scenarios for all to join at. Personally I'm really excited for the idea, I know it's not the same as a linkshell but that's partially why it sounds so useful. Rather than chat messages that go missed and players going on/off all day, we'll have permanent message boards that can declare where to meet around.

I figure it at least has potential, because I certainly am sick of ul'dah in general, and would love to see more RP in Gridania, Limsa, and my personal favorite the Steppes. With Ishgard getting the reconstruction thing too, I can definitely see plenty of crafter RP happening as well.

Anyways, to any other RP'ers out there, thoughts or ideas?
