Are you blacklisting actual people and hitting the cap, or is it RMT spammers? If it's RMT spammers, I have an alternative suggestion, because doubling the size just kicks the can down the road.

I think reporting an RMT spammer should automatically place that character in a temporary blacklist that gets cleared when you log out (or every 24hr or something). Rarely have I seen the same RMT spammer over several days (though feel free to correct me here; I don't really pay close attention to their names). There's no reason to eat up permanent blacklist spots for a character you'll probably never see again.

yeah there aren't many people who need a perma BL spot. if most of the names are temporary RMT bots then it would be cool to have a temp-BL option that expires after a few days so those temp RMT accounts are auto cleaned out from the BL. or any other QoL additions like being able to set categories for the names in the BL to separate nasty players from RMTs and have a bulk remove option to empty out categories.
