Company chest upgrades!

As a free company that tries to equip and gear up players new/old to get through their respective story patches, we find that with growing story and tomes stone items that we simply do not have enough space with three tabs. When people ask what they should buy with their spare tomes, we don't have the space to grab a little bit of everything and tuck it away.

I feel with with our company credits, ranks, and member growth, that we should be able to purchase additional slots past 3 to help with the chest limitations. I personally house extra FC mats for our crafters when we don't have the room for the older mats. We toss the newest patched items in the chest then the older things ole seafog has to hold onto.

FC's need upgrades in general. The FC chest is a joke. At least provide FC's with free retainers for storage it's really not fair that officers need to use theirs to store stuff. Also FC actions haven't been changed in years. Their potency needs to be revisited badly in my view. Also, a message board where officers can communicate with the membership needs to be added with perhaps a schedule board showing events etc that can be set up on a weekly and monthly basis.

Earning FC credits is also painfully slow for small FC's. I'm hard pressed to keep one up let alone two we just don't earn credits fast enough.

Remember, if you wanted to crash the game, unite every player to check the FC chest at once. Enlarging this would just make this more plausible and probable. They've never completely fixed it. I don't see them revamping something that had never been an issue despite a drunken Dev interview leak.

A system like WoW's guild chest would be nice. Being able to buy more vaults. Having some general ones and some for crafting materials. Being able to set a limit to how many things a player can take out per day. But...don't think it will happen.

Yes you said you can't add the chest because of server load, however, in SB we got 2 new chests, one in Rhalgrs Reach and one in Kugane... >.>

I really like this expansion, but it's amazing that despite yet another new round of crafting materials and primal/raid tokens we got no extra inventory space, no third free retainer and no Company Chest expansion. Especially considering a lot of old materials are perfectly relevant for current ingots/nuggets/ect, submarines, airships, gear for alts, furniture and so on.

Its not server load, but to make it larger would more than likely cause the issue to get worse by expanding it. I'll +1 to a chest in ishgard; but I'll still stand with why can't an instanced Airship shop for fc's to be added to that area. Its a place for non house FC's to get, and would bring people back to the area.

Why pay someone to rewrite the 1.0 inventory "spaghetti code" when you can charge a fee on top of an already monthly sub to buy more inventory space.
