Exactly. I don't even want that stupid scarf, I just don't like being left out of the contest because of where I live when I pay the same monthly fee as any other player.No matter the triviality of the item in question, it's the principle.
It's not fair to deny them? Just like it's fair every time some of these contests are up that others have to sit and watch other people participate. Why would someone have to feel handicapped just cause of the region they made their account in (doesn't even have to be born there). . . . all while they are bound by the same moral and financial rules towards SE.
It's all rules and regulations of individual country laws, and it's all fine, but as I said, if SE thinks that it's not going to cause discomfort to some portion of they playerbase then they really have no clear concept of the online community.
