I messed my picture up so I can't win now. ; ;

There's another JP only contest that started earlier this month for the same prize. It's probably gonna come to EU/Quebec too. South Americans will still probably get shafted though. Still seems like a lot of huff over a silly little bandana.

I honestly don't care about the bandanna, what annoys me is the fact they are making a contest for an in game item with no actual monetary value and limiting it to few countries when there's not a single reason for doing so.There's another JP only contest that started earlier this month for the same prize. There's no extra cost involved, no additional risk, very little additional work (IE: they will have like 10 more entries to evaluate, lol) and (as far as I know) no law restrictions outside of maybe a few countries that might consider this "gambling".

Pretty much this. Knowing s.e to it probably has garbage stats anywayThere's another JP only contest that started earlier this month for the same prize. It's probably gonna come to EU/Quebec too. Currently playing: Fire Emblem Awakening & Tales of Xillia.
Good luck to all those participate... I'd probably win since I've had a culinary scholarship, but unfortunately I have no culinary skills in-game... yet. ;-;
Honestly, I'd rather the terms state that if you enter from an excluded region you exempt yourself from the in-game prize but can still be declared a winner.
I'm from the UK and even if they put up an EU event with the same item reward I won't care, it was this contest that got me excited. If they offered different prizes for all contests it would be exactly the same, somebody is bound to want one of the other two.
It's a little confusing as to why the contests for the NA and JP are different but offer the same reward, is it purely to get some variety or rather an informed decision that JP players wouldn't enjoy the cooking competition as much.

I'd say they are doing this so japanese players don't sign up for EU and NA and viceversa, but this leaves a lot of countries (paying countries) out of the equation.

Easy solution:
NA contest: North, Central and South americas
EU contest: Europe and Africa
Asian contest: Asia and Oceania
Ta~dah!
