SB Leveling Rotation and Level 60 Gear Question

Hello! I'm working on Level 60-70 on all my crafters atm. I have a rotation I learned from a friend when I hit 50, but I'm wondering if it can be done more efficiently as I level? My normal rotation is:

Comfort Zone > Inner Quiet > Steady Hand II > Rapid Synth until I can't do it anymore without finishing the craft (I keep an eye on Progress and use a calculator to make sure.)

Hasty Touch > Then replacing Steady Hand II as it falls > Master's Mend's when the Durability gets low > Replacing Comfort Zone ONE time

Do this until CP is < 100 and use Hasty Touch until 20/xx Durability. Finish with:

Innovation > Byregot's Blessing > Careful Synthesis to complete

Depending on the craft level and my mats this normally works pretty well for me, with 100% HQ. I'm just wondering if now that I am in the 60s if there is a more efficient way to craft items as I level through the Stormblood levels.

I'm wearing HQ melded Ironworks gear. My tools are my biggest issue rn, which is my other question. I have HQ Blue Level 60 Primary tools (I think they might be HW AF gear) and HQ Level 60 "Green" Secondary Tools. They're not the fancy High Mythril/Eikon ones you can craft from the Master Crafter IV books. I do have access to these recipes and I was able to make an HQ LTW set for a friend who is solo leveling that class. Now, it was kind of time consuming and expensive when it came to mats. Should I go through the trouble of crafting the High Mythril/Eikon tools? Or given that all my crafters are around 63+ (some are already 65/66) should I go for a higher level set from a vendor or is there an easier to obtain alternative?

Thank you in advance for anyone who offers help <3

Honestly, if you're comfortable with spending a few days, you can get through 60-70 just by doing Heavensward scrip collectables such as Citrines, this is quite the grind but it will allow you to save all your leves for the 71-80 gap, just as a side recommendation.

Regarding the rotation, it'd be much easier if you provided your exact stats, craftsmanship/control/CP.

Edit: You don't really want to run through the hassle of making the High-Mythrite tools.

Your tools are quite good enough for a while, perhaps to 70. You can check the MBs as you level to see how they compare to later crafted tools.

Ironworks armor is good to 70 if max melded. Maybe without max melds, IDK, I like to blow materia up so I pentameld.

As far as rotations go check Caimie's guide: http://ffxivrealm.com/guides/ff14-ad...e-tsukino.194/

Some parts might be outdated now. She is working on updating but I don't know if she has finished.

You are doing the Namazu quests I presume.

I want to mention that for CPs Blood Bouillabaisse is absoutly broken giving a 26% boost for HQ. NQ gives the same with a lower cap which doesn't mater at your levels and is sold in the cyrstarium.

You might save a few CP by using Manipulation rather than Master's Mend, if I'm remembering skills correctly. But it does take a little extra care to not waste the recovery. Additionally, depending on your Goods and whatever you happen to take for CP recovery, you might work in alternatives to Hasty Touch.

If you've paid attention and learned the hows and whys of what you're doing now, you're doing pretty well. Just takes a little playing around with some of the other skills to learn how they might fit in, too.

Thank you for all the replies in this thread. Super helpful stuff. Yeah I've resolved to upgrading the Level 60 tools at around level 65 and then 68. But I am having lots of trouble HQ'ing Level 68 stuff for the Levequests. However, I didn't meld the tools (I've melded my Ironworks gear) and I was using shitty food. I'll give Blood Bouillabaisse a shot. I might attempt Kaurhz's suggestion to do Collectables cause right now Leves are a PITA. They were great for leveling my gatherer's though.

I don't have my stats right now since I am work. But I know I got it high enough to craft the tripled-star stuff from Master Craft IV books (glam priorities!).

At least meld CPs on your tools.

    CPs >>> all.
