Legends speak of a condiment, a condiment that is guaranteed to compliment any dish such that it would be fit for the Twelve. In fact, in certain regions, it is said that the Twelve were originally adventurers, who only came in to existence by consuming this condiment with a certain dish. As the story goes, the Twelve first created a dish whose only ingredients were 4 chicken breasts (Alas, the species of chicken available to the Twelve has long since gone extinct). It is said that from these 4 chicken breasts they created 12 chicken nuggets. Each of the Twelve was allotted 1 piece and dipped it in "The One Sauce". They then consumed their divine creation, and thus did they become the Twelve.
"The One Sauce"
x1 Cider Vinegar
x2 Ruby Tomato
x1 Table Salt
x1 Garlean Garlic
x1 Cloves
x1 Wild Onion
x1 Cinnamon
Do not be deceived by the simplicity of the ingredients. Should you gather these ingredients and attempt to create this stupendous sauce, you will only be disappointed to be left with what the common folk label as 'ketchup'. Nay, only the rarest and highest quality of ingredients will suffice. This obviously suggests that your ingredients must be gathered from exotic locales and fearsome beastiary.
First, the Cider Vinegar. One must travel the far reaches of the Black Shroud to obtain the ingredients for this cider vinegar. Seek ye the wily and mischievous Jackanapes, for only the Faerie Apple he jealously guards is fit for this vinegar. One must also draw water from the clear and pristine Alder Springs. Finally, the maple sugar must be extracted from the maple sap of a maple tree unique to Moonspore Grove.
Should you happen across a Goblin Thug in your various travels, you would do well to procure a Wild Onion from its person. It is said that the mere proximity of the garden variety wild onion to a Goblin Thug causes mysterious changes in the inner workings of the onion. Whether you obtain your prize through force of arms or parley is for you to decide. Those bearing swift and nimble fingers may even be able to appropriate this ingredient with the victim none the wiser.
It is said that those in the know all know that the highest grade of cinnamon is secretly sold by the merchant known as P'sonjha in Uldah's Ruby Road Exchange. However, only those she trusts may purchase from her hidden stash. Perhaps if you were to assist her in some manner.....
If it is Table Salt you seek, you must travel to the region of Nophica's Wells. You must engage and defeat the malicious Elder Mosshorn, for he and his companions guard the mineral-rich water which you must combine with Elder Mosshorn's precious rock salt.
The benevolent Burbles of boundless Bloodshore have been known to be a boon to those who seek the best quality Garlean Garlic. However, when a Burble discovers a high quality garlic it often devours the savory spice on the spot. As such, it is often best to slay the beasts as soon as it discovers the delectable morsel.
Should you happen to pass through Cedarwood be vigilant. You seek the fiendish, foul fowl Gluttonous Gertrude. Truth be told, this avaricious avian often dines on Ruby Tomatoes. You must extract a pair of these tomatoes from Gertrude's gullet. Of course this greedy game bird will not just allow one to partake of it's favorite fare....
Finally, the final ingredient, Cloves. Stiffen your resolve for you must face the fearsome, ferocious, dastardly, devious Wharf Rat...
Do not be deceived by his innocent appearance for he his a foul and treacherous creature. Slaying this fell beast is a task that requires the assistance and aid of many a hero. Do not underestimate this beast for many have sought to vanquish him but few have returned alive.
Should you and your companions have the good fortune to gather all of these legendary ingredients, you've but one task remaining to complete "The One Sauce". You must journey to Mor Dhona. But be warned, one does not simply walk into Mor Dhona. One must seek the summit of the Crystal Spire. Only there can this supreme sauce be created, for only at the summit is the aether sufficient to imbue the properties that make it "The One Sauce".

Apple-Raisin Risotto (aka Apple-Raisin d'Etre)
RAPIDLY saute the faerie apples in butter and maple sugar and remove from pan once they are sufficiently browned.
Use the STANDARD method to stir rice into the left-over sauce in the pan and saute for 7 minutes, stirring constantly.
Return the sauteed apples to the pan and add the raisins and warmed buffalo milk. (Don't add cold milk!)
Continue to stir and CAREFULLY add small amounts of milk when needed until the rice is al dente.
TOUCH UP the mixture by stirring in cinnamon. If needed, DOUBLE DOWN with a small amount of extra butter and/or maple sugar to ensure retention of flavor.
Cover and let sit, WAIT for at least three minutes before serving.
Enjoy~

Ashiee's Moogle Sugar Cookies
(no moogles were harmed in the making of these cookies)
Originally intended as a gesture of good faith to the moogles in the Black Shroud, these moogle shaped sugar cookies have become a hit with many of the citizens of Eorzea. A tasty treat for those in the mood for something sweet.
Recipe

2x Maple Sugar
1x Chicken Egg
2x Sunset Wheat Flour
1x Table Salt
1x Natron
2x ice shard
4x fire shard
Directions
Step 1: In a bowl, mix the Salted Butter and Maple Sugar and cream together until smooth.
Step 2: Stir in the Chicken Eggs, Sunset Wheat Flower, a pinch of table salt and a pinch of Natron.
Step 3: Once all the ingredients are blended, chill the cookie dough until it is malleable (ask a blackmage friend to cast freeze to speed up this process).
Step 4: Roll the cookie dough flat to about a quarter inch in thickness. Cut out the cookies in the shape of moogles. Place these cookies onto baking sheet.
Step 5: Place the baking sheet in an oven and bake until golden brown.
Step 6: Once finished, place the moogle cookies on a cooling rack until cool enough to serve. Make sure to have your rolling pin handy to whack any lingering hands trying to get at the cookies~
Weffrey's Dalamud Delights
*whispering*
Ingredients:
1 Gerulf Marmot Steak
1 handful of Dragon Pepper
Half a handful of Garlean Garlic
Half a handful of Wild Onion
Half a handful of Highland Parsley
1 pinch of Table Salt
1 pinch of Paprika
1 pinch of Black Pepper
Step 1: Take a trip to the Culinary Guild. Once you arrive place your station carefully behind the pillar, avoiding the other chefs' glances. (Note: Pulmia will notice you, but don't worry she'll be distracted shortly.)
Step 2: Stay as quiet as possible, while performing all steps. You will be using the ample supplies around the guild, free of charge! (Note: As long as you stay silent and act discreetly.)
Step 3: Before you "collect" the main ingredient, you must first grab all the side ingredients. From behind the pillar, you will be able to first grab one handful of Dragon Peppers, half a handful of Highland Parsley, half a handful of Wild Onions, and half a handful of Garlean Garlic. (Note: When Pulmia blinks, grab from the sacks!)
Step 4: If you acted subtly, it is time to move to the spices. Now to grab the Paprika, Black Pepper, and Table Salt. Surprisingly, they are found in a small cabinet behind the guild counter. This is a problem, considering you will not have direct access to it. To remedy this situation, strike a deal with the pirates eating on the balcony. I personally suggest offering them a cut of the gil once you make it famous creating this dish! (Note: Be mindful of how much noise you create when discussing the agreement with whichever pirate agreed to your terms.)
Step 5: If you completed the negotiations successfully, at least one pirate will begin to act disorderly claiming all sorts of accusations against the guild. The members behind the counter will rush over to see what the raucous is all about. That is your cue to grab those spices from the cabinet. (Note: Make a dash for the three spices. Then return back to your camp behind the pillar.)
Step 6: If everything went smoothly you are about half-way done! You have all the side ingredients now-not prepared yet though. Preparing the side ingredients will have its time, but now you need the main ingredient. The Marmot Steak. Beginning to smell a tender, juicy, succulent piece of meat in the air? Where is it coming from? From Gerulf. He's been getting it ready while you've been obtaining the side ingredients! Now it is time to cook up a juicy rumor to move Gerulf away from his station. Don't forget Pulmia needs to be shifted slightly as well because she will begin to become suspicious and watch more closely as you try your best to stay behind the pillar. Get these two to argue! (Note: Successful rumors include letting Pulmia know Gerulf drools in his own food or telling Gerulf, Pulmia lost a previous culinary contest.)
Step 7: If the two have begun fencing with culinary knives-success! Take Gerulf's pan, grab a plate, slide the Marmot Steak onto the plate, return the pan to Gerulf's station. (Note: Not many make it this far-good job if you have!)
Step 8: Take our your own culinary knife and begin to slice and dice the Dragon Peppers, Garlean Garlic, Wild Onions, and Highland Parsley. (Note: Thin slices are best.)
Step 9: Place the sliced and diced ingredients onto your pan and begin to heat until a slight light brown hue appears signaling the roasting is complete. (Note: You're getting there-great job!)
Step 10: Once the sliced and diced ingredients have been roasted, add them to the plate with the luscious Marmot Steak resting atop. (Note: Duck! The fencing match has not concluded! Pulmia just about took your head off. Never thought cooking was this dangerous? Think again disciples of war and magic!)
Step 11: Add the seasonings. Paprika to give it a nice kick! Black Pepper and Table Salt to enhance the flavors! (Note: Do not spill any into your eyes.)
Step 12: You have finished! Go outside and yell at the top of your lungs, "I've made Weffrey's Dalamud Delights!!!" (Note: Depending who is around you may need to explain to local Limsan officials about the title of this recipe. I have found telling them "Dalamud made me do it!" seems to be ineffective. I advise coming up with something more creative.)
Step 13: Taste your dish to ensure it is yummy with a good amount of spicy flavors. (Note: The spicier the better!)
Step 14: Share the dish with all your fellow adventurers! (Note: It is always great to share.)
