Culinary Creation Contest Entry Thread

Hello fellow Culinarians! This is Kaiser Drill From Wutai. One thing I have noticed lacking in the recipes are pasta dishes. As I dabble in cooking in RL, I have decided to share with you some of my family's secret recipes (translated into our mats of course lol). So without further ado, here they are:

Fresh Pasta: (as this is not in game atm but would be needed to make each of these recipes)
1x Sunset Wheat Flour
1x Chicken Egg
1x Olive Oil
Cheddar Cheese: (Yellow) & (White): (once again not in game atm but we can't make these with Blue Cheese now can we =p)
1x Sweet Cream
1x Table Salt
Both varieties would come up by inputting these mats

Aunt Sue's Mac 'N' Cheese:
1x Fresh Pasta
2x Cheddar Cheese (Yellow)

The feel of fibers under his fingertips as he weaves a beautiful body piece made of white and gold cloths. But in the end, he can only glimpse it.

Until one day, when he decides to capture the essence of each fragment as he journeys, and after what feels like a lifetime of wandering, he brings together those captured components and tries again to create something magical, something beautiful.

He takes a sip of his creation, and for a moment, he remembers it all...

The lush jungles of Kazham and its sweet pineapples. The gothic peaks of San d'Oria and its tart grapes. The sweeping serenity of the Lufaise Meadows and the apples that grew upon wild trees there. The grandeur of Windurst and its plethora of oranges. The sugary air of the Rolanberry Fields and the berries for which they were named. The cacophony of Bastok and the juicy pears sold within the travel gear shop in the Port.

He remembers his friends, his rivals, his enemies. He remembers battles fought, lives lost, and sacrifices made as the world was saved. He remembers the journey. Then, it all begins to slip away again as the taste of the drink fades from his lips. He sees that he is not under the canopy of Windurst but in Gridania, and though he embraces the future promised to him on Eorzea, he wants just one more moment in that other realm, and so he takes another sip...

Vision of Vana'diel

1 - Prickly Pineapple
1 - Lowland Grapes

3 x Ice Shard, chilled to perfection.

Poor Gerulf was so hungry. I felt sorry for him so I decided to make him a dish so quick and easy to cook that even a busy chef like him can take a bite to eat!

Hiir's Nopal Tostadas

Ingredients

1 dragon pepper
1 bulb of garlean garlic
1 bottle of mineral water
1 tsp of olive oil
1 nopal
1 chopped Wild Onion
1 chunk of cream chese
1 piece of flatbread

Step one: Toast the dragon pepper and the Garlean garlic in a hot dry skillet until both are fragrant and blistered. Let them cool and chop them up fine and use a mortar and pestle and a little mineral water any pound them into a spicy, garlicky paste.

Step 2: Sautee the nopal in olive oil with your chopped wild onion until both are soft.

Step 3: Spread your spicy paste and cream cheese on your flatbread and top with your nopal and onion. Fold over the flatbread and enjoy!

Olympian Black Pudding

A blood sausage believed to bestow the strength of a wild beast often eaten before Eorzean games long forgotten.

Alright, I'm seeing all these really high class and demanding recipes lately... Honestly this is all fine and dandy but I think it's time we got something for the kids to enjoy!

Gospel's Super Quick and Easy Chocolate Milk.

Ingredients

1 can Aldgoat Milk. (can substitute with Buffalo Milk)
1 ball of Bubble Chocolate



Now time for some family fun! You get a glass, pour the milk into the glass, drop the bubble chocolate inside along with the milk, get a spoon, stir and enjoy!

If you want to get more creative, you can use a Fire Crystal if you prefer some hot chocolate for those cold snowy and rainy nights or use an Ice Crystal if you prefer a nice cool refreshing glass for the summer!

How I preform this with a skillet? Do not ask for I am not able to tell you that. Cooking master's secret.

Maestro Sartori's Ogre Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:
1 Ogre Pumpkin
1 Cinnamon
1 Buffalo Milk
1 Sunset Wheat Flour
1 Apkallu Egg
1 Table Salt

Tired of being "one shotted" by those pesky Ogres? Whip up some of this delicious Ogre Pumpkin Pie to give you the strength and bravery to take these guys on!! These ingredients can be found scattered throughout the world of Eorzea. Some of them are very easy to get except the Buffalo Milk and the Apkallu Egg. I would suggest using Sleep on that Great Buffalo when you go to get that milk, be quick about it and you should be okay. The Apkallu egg is very very rare, and comes from the elusive Apkallu bird. I would contact Hiir Noivl for help on this as she is Counting Sheeps Master Chef and I saw her stalking the bird one day hunting for eggs....
