    Excalibur's La-La Steak Sandwich

    2 slices of Knight's Bread
    1 tablespoon of Kukuru Butter
1 tablespoon if Ala Mhigan Mustard
1 1/2 inch cut of Aldgoat Steak +3
    1 Apkallu Egg
1 head of La Noscean Lettuce
1 slice from a Ruby Tomato
    1 can of Aldgoat Milk

    How To:
First off a few days before you make this dish you wanna get your Ala Mhigan Mustard and dry a tablespoon out and ground it into a fine powder then bag it for later use.
A few days later start your open flame and get it to that perfect temperature and start cooking that Aldgoat Steak +3 to your preference.
Just before you finish the steak make sure to crack open your Apkallu Egg and cook it sunny side up. (The Apkallu Egg is very thick so cook it thoroughly.)
Now that you are done cooking the egg and steak take your tablespoon of Kukuru Butter and put half a tablespoon on each slice of Knights bread and try to even the thick oil out best you can.
So close now just a couple more steps don't eat it yet I know the steak alone is tempting.
Take the juicy thick Aldgoat Steak +3 and lay it nicely across a slice of Knight's Bread, then lay that yolk-filled Apkulla Egg a put it right on top. Oh YEAH!
It's getting good, now take that bag of Ala Mhigan Mustard and sprinkle it right on top of the egg. (Yes, please.)
Alright now take that tangy blood-red slice of that fruit "Cough, cough" excuse me and my botanist friends, "Vegetable" known as a Ruby Tomato and lay it across your Apkulla Egg.
Now take that perfect crispy leaf off your head of La Noscean Lettuce and put it down on the Ruby Tomato, and top it off with the last slice of Knight's Bread.
Now that is a sandwich that a Lalafell needs so the hope that one day 1 of us will grow big and strong like a Roegadyn. At least a Roegadyna
Oh and last but not least, you take that can of Aldgoat Milk and you down it with your sandwich for the perfect Excalibur La-La Steak Sandwich meal just before bed to pack on the muscle mass to grow up to be the next Mr. Hydaelyn

    Ifrit's Lemon Peppered Fire Steak

Recipe (Rank 55 - yields 1 per craft)
    1x Buffalo Sirloin
    1x Dried Marjoram
    1x Salted Butter
    1x Dragon Pepper
    1x Black Pepper
    1x Sun Lemon
    1x Buffalo Milk
    1x Laurel
    2x Fire Crystals

    Cooking Instructions
First, take your Buffalo Sirloin and trim the excess fat off with a knife. You'll want to make sure that the cut of the steak is about 1 & 1/2 inches thick.

Now you will want to get a bowl and fill it with Buffalo Milk. Put the steak in the bowl of Buffalo Milk. Place the bowl in a fridge or cast Blizzara around it if you are lacking a fridge. Let it set for at least 5 hours.

Grab your Dragon Pepper and slice it with a knife in a chopping motion from tip to tip. Be careful not to chop any of your fingers off as you will probably need those later on.

Now, get out your frying pan and Salted Butter. Preheat your frying pan on your stove. Then, add 3 tbsp of Salted Butter and set the stove at a medium heat. Add half of your slices of Dragon Pepper to the pan and sauté them for 3 minutes then, remove them from the pan.

Take your Sun Lemon and cut it in half. Get a mixing bowl and add the other half of Dragon Pepper slices, 4 tsp of Black Pepper, 2 tsp of Dried Marjoram, a sprig of Laurel, and squeeze one half of your Sun Lemon in the mixing bowl. Mix it together really well.

Take the cut of Buffalo Sirloin out of the bowl of Buffalo Milk and place it in the mixing bowl to coat it nicely.

Put the steak in the pan. You will want to sear the steak on high heat until it forms a nice crust on all sides of the steak, this normally takes about 2 minutes. Then, cook it on low heat for 7 minutes, flip it, and cook it for another 7 minutes. Turn the heat off and let the meat set for 10 minutes.

Finally you can plate the steak, place the sautéd Dragon Pepper slices on the meat, squeeze the other half of the Sun Lemon over it, and enjoy the high quality meal you just made!

Warning: It is best to have a White Mage on stand by when eating Ifrit's Lemon Peppered Fire Steak as it has been known to make some people faint.

Horneater’s stew is a staple dish of the Hellsguard, who live in a land of little sustenance. Hunting parties search for ogres that scour their volcanoes. Ogre flesh is poisonous to eat, but the horns contain nutrient marrow, a favorite of the Roegadyn. Boiling also softens the horn for consumption.

Charirii's Lavender-Kissed Sea Salt Fudge Brownies!

Charirii's Lavender-Kissed Sea Salt Fudge Brownies!

These brownies are sweet and extremely fudgy, with a wonderful aroma and unique flavor. The secret is to add just a touch of lavendar oil - a little goes a long way! This dessert is not only a great way to show off your culinary talents, but your adventuring skills as well, should you decide to brave the Rhotano Sea!

Serves 10 tiny Lalafell, 3 hungry Hyur, or 1 starving Roegadyn Sea Wolf.

    Ingredients:
    2 Fire Shards
    1 tsp Olive Oil
    1 1/2 sticks Salted Butter
12 pieces Bubble Chocolate, finely chopped
    1/2 cup Kukuru Powder
    2 cups Maple Sugar
    3 large Chicken Eggs
    1 Vanilla Bean
    1 cup Sunset Wheat Flour
    3 drops of Lavendar Oil
1/2 tsp Rhotano sea salt* (Substitute ingredient: 1/2 tsp Rock Salt)
(Optional) 1/2 cup chopped Gridanian Walnuts or Almonds, for crunchy texture and added sweetness!

    *How to Obtain Sea Salt:
To obtain sea salt, travel to the coast and collect a bucket of water from the Rhotano Sea. Boil the water until about 95% has evaporated, then transfer the contents into a small dish and and wait for the rest of the water to evaporate. Now, if you are too lazy to travel to the sea... you should be ashamed of yourself, because you are not just a cook but an adventurer!! Though, I suppose you could substitute Rock Salt, if it's coarsely grinded. Be careful not to grind it too much, or you'll end up with a batch of Table Salt.

    Directions:
    1. Heat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9x9 baking dish with olive oil.

    2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate over low heat. Be sure to stir it occasionally to prevent burning!

    3. When everything's melted and the guild smells wonderfully of butter and chocolate, stir in the Kukuru powder, maple sugar, eggs, vanilla bean, walnuts, and wheat flour. Pour the batter into the baking dish and spread it evenly.

    4. Next, sprinkle the salt over the batter and swirl it in with a butter knife.

    5. Bake the brownies in the oven for about 35 minutes, using Careful Synthesis at least once to prevent the heat from rising and to maintain a slow, steady baking time.

    6. Let the brownies cool for a few minutes before serving, then enjoy with a cold glass of fresh Buffalo Milk!

As the fiance of a wonderful woman that loves her sweets, I am always striving to create new and innovative desserts to suit the cravings of her fickle tastebuds.

With that, I bring you my latest and greatest culinary creation, Rolanberry Bomb-Bons! Yes, you heard that right! With this recipe, you will surely be an explosive hit at any party or gathering!

    Rolanberry Bomb-Bons

    Preparation time: 30 minutes
    Yields 40 servings

    Ingredients:
    1 cup Salted Butter, softened
3.5 cups Powdered Sugar (if this is unavailable, finely ground Maple Sugar is an adequate stand in)
3 tablespoons squeezed Rolanberry juice (use a strainer if you wish to avoid seeds)
    2 cups chopped Almonds
    3 cups Bubble Chocolate

    Directions:
    1. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugar and rolanberry juice until smooth. Stir in almonds. Shape into roughly 1.5 Ilm balls and place on nonstick baking sheets. Freeze until firm.
    2. In a heavy saucepan, melt the chocolate. Dip balls in chocolate, leaving the top bare (like the opening in a Bomb's head). Place on nonstick baking sheets.
    3. Optional: For decoration, before chocolate settles insert almond slivers (or something of your choosing) into sides for arms. With a toothpick or other pointed object, draw the likeness of a Bomb's face into the chocolate.
    4. Refrigerate until hardened. Store in refrigerator.
    5. Serve, eat and enjoy!

    Moogle Meringue Pie

    Moogle Meringue Pie
Sugar and spice and everything nice, is what moogle meringue pies are made of. :3

    Ingredients:
    aldgoat milk
    dodo egg
    maple sugar
    mineral water
    salted butter
    rolanberry
    vanilla beans

    Directions:

Preheat your skillet to 375 degrees F.

Beat dodo egg yolk in a medium bowl (you only need one because a dodo egg is huge!), reserve the egg white in another medium bowl. Set aside.

Slice a rolanberry in half. Finely chop one half. Set both aside.

Boil mineral water, maple sugar, and vanilla beans for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Remove vanilla beans and set aside.

Gently whisk the vanilla flavored mixture into the egg yolk in small batches.

Return the egg yolk mixture back to the skillet on low. Cook an additional minute.

Make the meringue topping while the pie filling is cooking. Beat the egg white furiously (with a whisk, not your fists!) while adding small amounts of maple sugar until stiff peaks form.

Remove the egg yolk mixture from heat and stir in the chopped rolanberry and salted butter until combined, turning the pie filling slightly pink.

Pour the rolanberry vanilla filling into a pre-made pie shell (preferably one earned from local leves, not the store bought kind).

Top the filling with the meringue. Give your moogle pie some character by fluffing up the meringue around the moogle's cheeks and ears.

Bake in your skillet for 10 minutes, or until the meringue tips turn golden. Remove and let cool.

Now for the finishing touches! Cut the vanilla bean in half and place it on the pie for the eyes, and place the halved rolanberry for the nose.

    Enjoy!
