    New 2.0 combat-leveling Beast Tribe

Though we already have ways to level alternate classes like FATEs, PotD, or obviously Roulettes, I think it would be nice to have a new beast tribe daily quests.

While beastmen quests from expansions are for lv. 50-60/60-70/soon 70-80, the ones from 2.0 require to be over lv.40 to make them. I was thinking about the possibility to introduce a sixth beast tribe to 2.0 content to cover the initial levels, like lv.10-40. This would be available for BLU and future Limited Jobs as well.

This one would be independent from the other five (so this one won't be required for the final Allied quests), and a way to introduce new players into these kind of daily quests.

As for the beasts? Maybe the Qiqirn or the Gigas, beasts with no allied tribe quests (or maybe a new one, I was thinking on the Yukes from Crystal Chronicles).

I think it has to do with the story and how beast tribes are viewed during ARR.

Aren't the Gigas only in Mor Dhona? It'd be kind of hard to have a 1 - 40 quest for them in the middle of Level 45 monsters.

Yoshi-P stated the Qiqirin at some point were going to be an actual Beast Tribe but they decided to go with a different group instead.

I'd currently say for ARR ones they are pretty much done, however with 6.0 most likely taking place back on the Source there could be a way for the Qiqirin/Gigas to be a tribe if they resettle them for Garlemalde. I think the Qiqirin are naturally native to Eorzea but that doesn't stop them from going across the sea to trade so it could be within reason they have a settlement in a 6.0 area.

In regards to the Qiqirin, I heard they were intended as a beast tribe in Stormblood but because of the popularity of the Namazu, they opted to use them instead. Could definitely see the former becoming a tribe in ShB though after all this time whether they are on the First or the Source, the Mou seem like good candidates as well.

They already revealed through the Fanfests that our three beast tribes for SHB are gonna be the Pixies, Nu Mou, and Dwarves. The first two being combat classes and the last being the crafter class most likely.

It's weird, but the Dwarves are indeed considered a Beast Tribe for some reason.

If I where to have my trusty tin-foil cap on, I think the idea of a "beast race" is really just a notion those on the Source use to discriminate from the races that choose to not live in any of the major city states.

I don't actually believe anyone on the First ever uses beast tribe or the like. So I think they are called beast tribe quests just to link them to the previous system. I will also point out if memory serves me correctly, when first introduced, Titiana was described as the pixies "primal", but we learned that they are the Pixie King and just kinda supposed to be there without the whole, soulless Lightwarden thing.

I don't know the full semantics I'm sure someone more focused on the lore can fill us in but at least in the Healer role quest storyline they treat each other with the same unity that the other beast tribes do. The other races on the First make their own settlements away from them and very few break out of the villages to go into them (why we only really see Giott in the Crystarium for example).

There are also two distinct Dwarf tribes that live completely opposite of each other and have slightly different views then each other which leads to fighting (Much like the Vanu and the Kojin).

The only reason we were expecting something more different is because through the Source the term Beast Tribe was put in by Ul'Dah to be a blanket statement for any of the races not viewed as normal or considered sub species. On the First since there wasn't any conflicts between the different races there is no actual Beast Tribe term, they just view each other as equals. That's why the Crystarium has so many different races working together and there's no animosity though there.
