    Hate Reset Mobs

    While I'm incredibly happy with this patch, the jobs, and the new dungeons, one thing seems incredibly overused: Hate resets.

    While hate reset moves can add a different variety of challenge to battles, I think it's becoming overused. Moogles have hate reset, as does Coincounter, and the paladin and bard fights.

    Perhaps I'm alone in this train of thought, but in the future could it be toned down a bit?

    They seriously overdid it in ff11 (Abyssea, I'm looking at YOU), I hope history doesn't repeat itself here.

    I'll be honest and say that I'm fairly irritated at the hate reset nature of the final Paladin fight. For the role PLD is supposed to fill, the fight doesn't allow that to happen at all.

    The fight would be near perfect without the hate reset. The aspiring Paladin would hold the Ogre while the rest of the party brings down the eye. That's consistent with what a PLD does.

    as long as there are visual cues to look for so you can get hate again i don't mind. Its when a mob charges off out of now were and kills your mages that's i don't like.

    It's common mechanic in MMO, I actually like it, it means people have to pay attention.

    When I've done Coincounter I see way too many BLM's just nuking like no tomorrow and then wonder why they get an eye of the beholder in the face.

    It's kind of frustrating if you know the mechanics of the fight and you're stood next to some nuke happy BLM.

    though, other than hate reset, maybe we could have more various than just hate reset, maybe target a random in pt and begin to attack that one regardless hate meter and then go back to the player got the most hate...kind of random player attack
